Northeast College Chiropractic Students Earn Top Honors at Sports Symposium, Backed by Faculty Expertise and Leadership
At the American Chiropractic Association (ACA) Sports Council Annual Symposium, held Sept. 25–26 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Northeast's Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Club was named Student Chapter of the Year, while club president and seventh-trimester chiropractic student Cathryn Brought earned Student of the Year honors.
Northeast College Announces New Partnership with Misericordia University
Northeast College of Health Sciences recently announced a new educational partnership with Misericordia University designed to provide students with a streamlined pathway toward earning a Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Through the new articulation agreement, Misericordia students studying exercise science or another eligible program of interest can pursue either a 3+3 or 4+3 pathway connecting their undergraduate education at Misericordia with Northeast College’s Doctor of Chiropractic program. Northeast College of Health Sciences has campuses in New York’s Finger Lakes region and on Long Island in the New York City metropolitan area.
Remembering Dr. Robert A. Crocker Jr., Founding Dean of HAPI
Northeast College of Health Sciences mourns the loss of Dr. Robert A. Crocker Jr., who died peacefully at his home in York, Pennsylvania, on Sept. 4, 2026. He was 75. Bob served this College as a trustee, as chair of the Board, and as founding Dean of the Human Anatomy and Physiology Instruction (HAPI) program. His work helped shape who we are today.
Northeast College Welcomes Renowned Massage Therapy Experts to Faculty
Northeast College of Health Sciences has officially welcomed two of the massage therapy profession's most respected educators to its faculty for the Fall 2026 trimester. Beginning this September, Ruth Werner and Dr. Susan G. Salvo have brought decades of clinical, teaching and publishing experience directly to the College's Massage Therapy program, offering students the unprecedented opportunity to learn from the very authors whose textbooks have helped educate generations of massage therapists worldwide.
