Northeast College of Health Sciences is marking the chiropractic profession's 131st Founder's Day (Sept. 18) by reflecting on its own 107-year history in chiropractic education. Founded in 1919 as Columbia Institute of Chiropractic in a Manhattan brownstone, the College relocated to a 280-acre campus in Seneca Falls, NY, in 1991, and returned chiropractic education to the NYC metro area in 2024 with a new Long Island campus in Levittown. President Dr. Michael Mestan says the profession's emphasis on excellence and professionalism laid the foundation for Northeast's growth into nutrition, radiologic technology, diagnostic medical sonography, massage therapy and physician assistant studies.

Students exploring a career in chiropractic are gaining more than a glimpse of what it’s like to learn at Northeast College of Health Sciences, with campus locations in Seneca Falls in New York’s Finger Lakes region and Long Island in the New York City metropolitan area.

Northeast College of Health Sciences and Susquehanna University have announced a new educational partnership designed to create seamless pathways for students pursuing careers in healthcare. Through the agreement, Susquehanna University students can now streamline their journey to Northeast College through new 4+3 articulation pathways.
