When to Apply.

Northeast College offers rolling and you may apply for study at any time. See information below on start dates offered by program.

Trimesters start yearly in September, January, and May.

  • Doctor of Chiropractic – September, January, May
  • M.S. in Applied Clinical Nutrition – September, January, May
  • M.S. in Human Anatomy & Physical Instruction – September
  • Massage Therapy program – September

You should apply to the Doctor of Chiropractic program at Northeast College of Health Sciences once you have completed at least 90 semester hours of college-level study. The 90 hours will include a minimum of 24 hours in life and physical science courses. These science courses will provide an adequate background for success in the program, and at least half of these courses will have a substantive laboratory component. To ensure adequate time for material collection, we recommend you apply six to nine months prior to your anticipated start date, if possible.

How to Write a Personal Statement That Makes (not Breaks) Your Grad School Application

This fee may be paid by credit card at the end of the application. The Admissions Office is happy to waive this fee when you send us an advance transcript for a prerequisite evaluation. Once your admissions counselor receives your transcript we will provide the fee waiver. Have a question? Contact the Admissions Office at 1.800.234.6922.

Request official transcripts of your academic records from all colleges/universities you've attended. Have them sent directly to the Northeast Admissions Office.

To apply to the Northeast Doctor of Chiropractic program, you must provide three written recommendation letters from the following:

  1. A healthcare provider*
  2. An academic instructor
  3. A character reference of choice

Letters of recommendation are not required to apply for M.S. programs.

Once your application is submitted and eligibility verified, you will be invited to participate in an admissions interview. You will meet with one of Northeast College's esteemed faculty members to discuss things like your academic history, motivational characteristics and personality strengths.

DC applicant interviews:
Once your application is submitted and eligibility verified, you will be invited to participate in an admission interview via Zoom with one of Northeast College's esteemed faculty members to discuss your motivational characteristics, personality strengths and academic preparation.

M.S. applicant interviews:
Once your application is submitted and eligibility verified, you will be invited to participate in an admission interview held via phone with the Dean of Online Admissions to discuss your motivational characteristics and academic and professional goals.
 

In certain instances, the interview may be waived.
