The ceremony featured remarks from College leadership, faculty, students and distinguished guests, celebrating the accomplishments of Northeast's newest graduates and welcoming them into the next chapter of their professional journeys.
Alumna Keynote Encourages Graduates to Lead with Purpose
Returning to the campus where her own journey began, College alumna Dr. Kristina Petrocco-Napuli (D.C. ’03) challenged the Class of Spring 2026 to embrace the future of healthcare with confidence, compassion and purpose.
An internationally recognized leader in chiropractic education who has presented on five continents and serves as a founding faculty member of Northeast’s Human Anatomy and Physiology Instruction program, Petrocco-Napuli reminded graduates that while their degrees represent years of hard work, their greatest impact will be measured by their character, service and commitment to person-centered care.
Reflecting on the rapidly evolving healthcare landscape, Petrocco-Napuli encouraged graduates to lead with courage and to continue advancing their professions through lifelong learning and innovation. "Graduates, you are living in a unique moment in healthcare, one shaped by information, technology and a shift from provider-centered to person-centered care," she said. "We owe it to society to practice and train for the future, not the past. Northeast gave you the tools to lead in that future – to be competent, confident, compassionate and contemporary."
Closing her address with a tribute to her alma mater, Petrocco-Napuli celebrated the graduates' accomplishments and welcomed them into the College's alumni community. "Today is a day that will forever be meaningful to you. You have worked hard and persevered to reach this moment. You did it," she said. "Today also marks a moment in which you will always be a graduate of Northeast and forever Northeast Blue."
Celebrating the Beginning of Clinical Education

The Transitions Ceremony honored seventh-trimester Doctor of Chiropractic students as they received their symbolic white coats, marking the transition from classroom learning to clinical education and patient care. After two years of intensive study in foundational and clinical sciences, chiropractic technique and integrated therapies, students begin the next phase of their education by applying their knowledge in Northeast's clinical settings.
The ceremony also recognized outstanding student achievement through awards celebrating leadership, service and dedication to the chiropractic profession.
A Commitment to Excellence Begins
Ceremony Week began with the Commitment to Excellence Pledge, celebrating Northeast's newest Doctor of Chiropractic students as they wrap their first trimester. During the ceremony, first-trimester students publicly affirmed their commitment to professionalism, leadership and integrity as they embarked on their educational journey.
Each student received a commemorative pin engraved with the words "Excellence. Professionalism. Leadership,” reinforcing the values that guide students throughout their education and future careers.
Honoring Milestones, Inspiring the Future
Spring 2026 Ceremony Week celebrated the moments that shape a #NortheastBlue journey to becoming a healthcare professional, from first-trimester students taking the Commitment to Excellence Pledge to graduates beginning the next chapter at Commencement. Together, these milestones showcase the growth, determination and commitment to service that define the Northeast experience, preparing graduates to enter the workforce ready to lead on day one.
