Northeast College Professor, Director Named Chair of NYS Board for Chiropractic
SENECA FALLS, N.Y. – Northeast College of Health Sciences announces that Dr. Michael P. Zumpano, professor and director of the College’s Anatomy Center and Anatomical Gift Program, has been named chair of the New York State Board for Chiropractic.

First appointed to the board in 2020, Zumpano has served five years as a member and has stepped into the role of chair. In this capacity, he will oversee board operations, guide communications and ensure compliance with New York state regulations. The board handles both licensing and disciplinary functions as an advisory body to the New York State Education Department and Board of Regents, upholding professional standards and protecting the public.
A Proven Leader in Chiropractic Service and Education

Zumpano earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Northeast College (then New York Chiropractic College) in 2006 and his Ph.D. in Anthropology from the University at Buffalo in 1997. He has been a member of the New York State Chiropractic Association since 2012 and previously served as president of the organization’s Rochester district from 2015 to 2017.
