Northeast College Associate Provost Re-Elected Chair of Council on Chiropractic Education

Seneca Falls, N.Y. — J. Todd Knudsen, D.C., associate provost of institutional effectiveness and compliance at Northeast College of Health Sciences, has been re-elected chair of the Council on Chiropractic Education for a one-year term. The vote took place Jan. 16–18, 2026, following his completion of an unfilled term as interim chair.
The Council on Chiropractic Education, or CCE, is the national accrediting agency for Doctor of Chiropractic programs in the United States. Accreditation provides assurance of educational quality and institutional integrity to licensing and regulatory bodies, professional organizations, students and the public.
Knudsen: Advancing Chiropractic Education
“Dr. Knudsen’s continued leadership at the national level reflects his deep commitment to advancing chiropractic education and professional standards,” said Northeast College President Dr. Michael Mestan. “His service as CCE Council Chair underscores the trust and respect he has earned across the profession.”
In addition to his leadership role at Northeast College, Knudsen has extensive experience in accreditation and higher education administration. He has served as a member of the CCE Academy of Site Visitors since 2012, including as a site team chair, and was first elected to the CCE Council in 2020. Knudsen also brings accreditation experience from the Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, where he has served as a Site Team Academy member since 2017.
Knudsen’s re-election reflects continued confidence in his leadership and commitment to ensuring quality assurance and excellence in chiropractic education nationwide.
