Northeast College of Health Sciences was pleased to welcome new and returning Doctor of Chiropractic and Master of Science program students to the Winter 2022 trimester, which kicked off on January 5.

New Chiropractic Students Get to Know Northeast

Dr. Mestan speaking to students during orientation

Orientation for incoming Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) program students was held on Jan. 4 and featured an overview of the student learning experience, the Northeast chiropractic curriculum, and student support and services. New students met College faculty, staff and current students, including D.C. student Tori Uglialoro ('22) who provided a demonstration of how to make the most of the student portal. At the end of the panels and presentations, new students and Northeast ambassadors set out on campus tours to wrap up the day.

Assistant Vice President of Enrollment Development & Admissions Scott Booth addressed the new doctoral students, saying "We are happy to welcome this group of future doctors to Northeast and eager to be on this transformative journey with you. Our staff, students and expert faculty will guide each of you through their commitment to academic excellence, leadership, and professional best practices."

Northeast College President Dr. Michael Mestan greeted the newest community members at the event and then posted a special welcome message to the College's LinkedIn account after the orientation: "Throughout my many years at Northeast College, I always get inspired seeing each student arriving with a unique story behind their decision to become a Doctor of Chiropractic," said Dr. Mestan. "I marvel at the deep passion each student brings with them to improve the lives of others, to contribute to something bigger than themselves. I am in awe of their incredible potential and our role in helping them achieve their academic potential and professional goals. Welcome to Northeast College's Doctor of Chiropractic Program."
