Northeast College of Health Sciences is proud to lead chiropractic education during an era that combines the best of traditional techniques with new, revolutionary technology.

Iona University and Northeast College of Health Sciences are proud to announce an updated articulation agreement providing students with clear and accelerated pathways to earn a Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree. The partnership offers both 4+3 and 3+3 program options, beginning with undergraduate studies at Iona and advancing to professional healthcare studies at Northeast.

Under the agreement, eligible Iona students will receive academic advising tailored to the chiropractic track, along with merit-based scholarship opportunities and streamlined admission into Northeast’s professional program.

“This partnership reflects Iona’s mission to expand opportunity and empower students to thrive in fields that serve the greater good,” said Dr. Tricia Mulligan, provost and senior vice president for Academic Affairs at Iona University. “By aligning our strengths with Northeast, we are creating a seamless academic experience that equips students with the knowledge, values and skills they need to make a meaningful impact in healthcare.”

Pathway Options to Advance Degree

Students on the 4+3 track will complete their undergraduate degree at Iona in one of five health science majors – biochemistry, biology, chemistry, health and wellness or neuroscience – while fulfilling prerequisites to enter Northeast’s D.C. program. Biology majors also have the option to follow a 3+3 track, transitioning to Northeast after just three years and applying the first year of chiropractic study toward the completion of their baccalaureate degree from Iona.

“Our partnership with Iona University reflects our shared commitment to academic excellence and preparing future leaders dedicated to reimagining health and transforming lives,” said Dr. Michael Mestan, president of Northeast College. “We’re proud to offer pathways that support student success and look forward to welcoming Iona students to Northeast as they pursue advanced degrees in the health sciences.”

As part of the agreement:
