Northeast College Announces Pathways for Students at Shippensburg University
Northeast College of Health Sciences has announced a new educational partnership with Shippensburg University in Pennsylvania, creating streamlined 3+3 and 4+3 pathways for students pursuing undergraduate degrees in biology, chemistry, exercise science, health sciences and physics.

Through the agreement, Shippensburg students can begin their journey toward a Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Northeast while completing their undergraduate studies efficiently and cost-effectively.
The 3+3 pathway allows students to complete a bachelor’s degree in three years at Shippensburg and transition directly into Northeast’s three-year Doctor of Chiropractic program. Students who meet the required GPA are automatically accepted into Northeast, saving one year of tuition and reducing total time to degree completion.
The 4+3 pathway enables students to finish their undergraduate degree at Shippensburg and then enter Northeast’s chiropractic program in a streamlined sequence, accelerating the process of earning both degrees while maintaining a solid academic foundation.
“Partnerships like this are key to Northeast College’s mission to expand access to graduate healthcare education,” said Dr. Michael Mestan, president of Northeast College of Health Sciences. “We’re proud to provide Shippensburg University students with clear pathways to careers in chiropractic and look forward to welcoming them to our #NortheastBlue community.”
With support from both institutions, students avoid unnecessary coursework and begin their path to Northeast by submitting a Letter of Intent signed by their undergraduate advisor.
