Northeast College and SUNY Plattsburgh Announce New Educational Pathways
Northeast College of Health Sciences and SUNY Plattsburgh in Plattsburgh, N.Y. have announced a new academic partnership creating 3+3 and 4+3 articulation pathways for students pursuing any health sciences major.

The agreement allows SUNY Plattsburgh students to begin their journey toward a Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Northeast while completing undergraduate studies efficiently and cost-effectively.
The 3+3 pathway enables students to earn a bachelor’s degree at SUNY Plattsburgh in three years, then transition directly into Northeast’s three-year Doctor of Chiropractic program. Students who maintain the required GPA are automatically accepted into Northeast, saving the cost of one year of tuition and reducing overall time to degree completion.
The 4+3 pathway allows students to complete their undergraduate degree at SUNY Plattsburgh before entering Northeast’s chiropractic program for a more streamlined path to earning both degrees. This option gives students a comprehensive undergraduate foundation while helping them move quickly into professional studies.
With guided support from both institutions, students avoid unnecessary coursework and begin their path to Northeast by submitting a Letter of Intent signed by their undergraduate advisor.
“This partnership with SUNY Plattsburgh reflects Northeast College’s commitment to creating accessible pathways for students passionate about healthcare,” said Dr. Michael Mestan, president of Northeast College of Health Sciences. “We’re excited to help students build on their undergraduate education and move confidently toward careers in chiropractic care.”
