Dr. Gary Tarola, a diplomate in chiropractic orthopedics, NCMIC board member, renowned speaker and contributor to essential publications in the profession, will deliver the Winter 2023 Commencement address at Northeast College of Health Sciences on April 1.

A Distinguished Career of Service.

Gary Tarola speaking at an event

Tarola has been an advocate for the chiropractic and healthcare professions throughout his outstanding career. In fact, one could say he wrote the book on chiropractic guidelines:  he acted as consultant to the formulation of both the “Guidelines for Chiropractic Quality Assurance and Practice Parameters” and the “Council on Chiropractic Guidelines and Practice Parameters.” He also published many articles in peer-reviewed journals and contributed to volumes two and three of the “Principles, and Practice of Chiropractic.”

Prior to his retirement in 2019, Tarola was section chief of the division of chiropractic medicine, Department of Medicine - Lehigh Valley Physician Group (LVPG), of Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN). He also served as president and chair of the board of the Pennsylvania Chiropractic Society and received that group’s Chiropractor of the Year Award. As well, Tarola received a Senatorial Proclamation of Accomplishments from the Pennsylvania State Senate.

A Week of Northeast Celebrations.

Northeast is eager to welcome Dr. Tarola to share his wisdom at this year’s Winter Commencement ceremony. The ceremony will be the culmination of the College’s Ceremony Week, a highly anticipated time held each trimester that also includes the Commitment to Excellence Pledge event for new chiropractic students and the Transitions Ceremony marking seventh-trimester students’ shift to the clinical phase of their education. Northeast’s Winter 2023 Commencement Ceremony will be on Saturday, April 1, 2023. For more information, visit www.NortheastCollege.edu/commencement.
