The competitive postgraduate Master of Science in clinical anatomy (C.A.) program provides an evidence-informed education to future teachers of human applied clinical anatomy

Northeast’s three-year Master of Science in clinical anatomy residency program includes earning a master’s degree after the completion of the second year of postgraduate study. During the third year of the residency program, the resident concentrates on professional development that integrates their clinical anatomy training and pedagogical skills into lecture and laboratory instruction in the anatomical sciences.

The M.S. in clinical anatomy three-year, full-time residency program is dedicated to the discipline of teaching anatomical sciences in clinical settings. Responsibilities of students enrolled in the clinical anatomy residency program include teaching in laboratories and lectures of various anatomical sciences courses, both at Northeast and at our partner institutions.

Academic requirements of candidates seeking admissions into the Master of Science in clinical anatomy program include:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree in the biological sciences or related field or a Master of Science or doctoral degree in the allied health sciences professions.
  • If a successful candidate holds a Bachelor of Science degree in the biological sciences or related field, part of their workload may include attending lecture sessions in the gross anatomy and neurosciences courses in addition to their clinical anatomy courses and assist assignments.

Candidates for the Master of Science in clinical anatomy program must apply by submitting a residency application to the Office of Human Resources. Applications are available online and should be submitted with all required materials to the director of human resources.

The Master of Science in clinical anatomy graduate program provides a comprehensive professional education that focuses on developing professional teachers of clinical anatomy.

There are things you're simply not able to do – palpating a muscle, evaluating a spine – if you're not in a shared environment with someone. A chiropractic education needs to reflect that reality.
