Biosketch
Dr. Germano is the former Director of the M.S. in Human Anatomy and Physiology Instruction (MSHAPI) program at Northeast College of Health Sciences, a position he held from 2017 to 2022. He is the instructor for HAP5110: Introduction to A&P; Chemistry; Cells; Histology and HAP 5160: Urinary System, Acid-Base Balance, Reproductive System, Development and Inheritance and is a co-instructor for ITP5140: Instructional Theory and Practices: Employment in the College/University Setting; Capstone Portfolio Project in the MSHAPI program. In addition, Dr. Germano is the full-time Anatomy and Physiology Course Coordinator at Farmingdale State College and is adjunct faculty at Adelphi University. Previously, he was adjunct faculty at Molloy College and Stony Brook University. Dr. Germano was in private practice on Long Island, N.Y. from 1992 to 2015. He graduated from Stony Brook University in 1988 with a B.A., earned his D.C. from New York Chiropractic College in 1991, earned his MSHAPI degree in 2012, also from NYCC. He is also a member of the Human Anatomy and Physiology Society (HAPS).
