New York Chiropractic College Impacts Local Economy

The economic impact of New York Chiropractic College (NYCC) on the local economy and the state has been valued at more than $67 million, according to a recently released report by the Commission on Independent Colleges and Universities in New York (CICU). Using data compiled throughout 2016 and 2017, the CICU calculated the College's economic influence on the region by analyzing direct spending, construction spending, labor, and the spending contributed to the area's economy by students and visitors.

NYCC Announces Change in Board of Trustees Leadership

The New York Chiropractic College (NYCC) Board of Trustees welcomed a new chairperson this month, while also celebrating the accomplishments of its outgoing leader. At the June 2019 meeting of the NYCC Board of Trustees, Frank Lizzio, D.C. '80, assumed the role of Board chairperson, succeeding Thomas DeVita, D.C. '75, who held the position since 2016.

From Baltimore to Berlin, students from New York Chiropractic College (NYCC) were present at two premiere chiropractic conferences this year. Featuring cutting-edge research, inspirational speakers and networking opportunities, the Association of Chiropractic Colleges Research Agenda Conference (ACC-RAC) and the World Federation of Chiropractic (WFC) Biennial Congress exist to support, empower, promote and advance chiropractors and the chiropractic profession.

Near-Perfect Pass Rate for NYCC Students Completing NBCE Part IV Exam

New York Chiropractic College (NYCC) is eager to announce a 98 percent pass rate for students who took the recent National Board of Chiropractic Examiners (NBCE) Part IV exam. The NBCE exams test the competency of chiropractic students and most states require that a student pass the NBCE boards as a part of becoming a licensed Doctor of Chiropractic.
