New York Chiropractic College Impacts Local Economy

The economic impact of New York Chiropractic College (NYCC) on the local economy and the state has been valued at more than $67 million, according to a recently released report by the Commission on Independent Colleges and Universities in New York (CICU). Using data compiled throughout 2016 and 2017, the CICU calculated the College's economic influence on the region by analyzing direct spending, construction spending, labor, and the spending contributed to the area's economy by students and visitors.

New York Chiropractic College (NYCC) and the New York State Chiropractic Association (NYSCA) announced today the first-ever joint NYCC homecoming and NYSCA Fall Convention to be held September 20-22, 2019 at NYCC's Seneca Falls campus. The College's homecoming—known this year as the Centennial Celebration in honor of NYCC celebrating the 100th year of its founding—and the NYSCA convention will feature continuing education opportunities for healthcare professionals, guest speakers, networking and social events, exhibitors, and more. Its innovative format will include plenary sessions, panel discussions, and breakout sessions with panelists, promising a rich and varied educational experience for attendees.

New York Chiropractic College (NYCC) and the Seneca County Community Counseling Center (SCCCC) are pleased to announce a new partnership in which NYCC faculty clinicians and students will provide chiropractic and acupuncture treatment to the clients of the SCCCC.


NYCC Sends Contingent to NCLC Annual Conference

Every year, the NYCC chapter of the Student American Chiropractic Association (SACA) travels to Washington, D.C., to attend the National Chiropractic Legislative Conference and advocate before Congress to advance the chiropractic profession and protect the interests of our patients. This year's event, held January 16-19, was particularly important, since among the many critical issues addressed with our members of Congress was improving Medicare reimbursement for chiropractic services.


NYCC Students Attend Club Day Fair

NYCC students are engaged and involved, as evidenced by representation at January 15's Club Day, held in the Padgett Administration building lobby. Participating clubs included Sports Club, Student Government Association, Motion Palpation Club, Canadian Chiropractic Club, Student NYSCA, Christian Chiropractic Club, Rehab & Performance Club, Applied Kinesiology Club, Women in Chiropractic, and Students for Social Diversity Awareness. Club tables had information and representatives and, in some cases, food: for example, the Canadians, appropriately, offered poutine to those who stopped by.
